After lots of planning and packing, we are finally back in America. My French business is closed and we are in the process of selling the lab. I am looking for conservation work in the USA now and a new chapter has started... Here's to the present and the future!
The 24th and 25th of September is the first annual Engaging in the Preservation of Cultural Heritage conference at the University of Texas in Austin. Many great topics will be presented and discussed. You can register for free online and check out the schedule at the following link if you would like to know more: http://www.ischool.utexas.edu/~epoch/.
I am presenting a poster entitled "Conserving and documenting the lesser known Holy Child sculptures" which you can see during the poster session on Saturday the 25th from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the School of Information. For more information please visit their website.
After two years of renovation, my conservation lab is finished and ready for work. Heated, insured, clean and equipped, I have a nice, calm space to work on large and small sculptures. If you would like to come visit the lab, do not hesitate to contact me.
